2020 Election Results – The Red and Blue Wars
The battle for the 2020 Election was waged in the swing states of our county. The Blue Army led by Joe Biden, with crucial support from the Lincoln Project, defeated the Red Army led by Donald Trump.
As the two sides of the partisan political armies faced-off, the casualty numbers started to come in. Early results for the 2020 election did not look very good for the Red Army and as time went by the outcome became more obvious.
After defeating the Red Armies at the battle grounds of Arizona and Pennsylvania, President-Elect Joe Biden claimed victory over the Republicans. Legal chalanges are expected.
As soon as Biden took Pennsylvania for the win, Trump claimed an overwhelming victory from his Golf Course in Virginia. He is of course waiting for the supreme court to overturn the election.
This strategy will require millions of votes to be declared invalid.
In the US Senate
Mark Kelly faced off with Martha McSally for Arizona’s Senate seat. The blue army beat back the red army, making Mark Kelly our next Senator. However, it looks like the US Senate will remain under Republican control.
Battle for the US House
Maryvale is in District 7 so the most important news here is that Ruben Gallego defeated Joshua Barnett in a landslide. There are a total of 9 seats for Arizona with 4 seats going to Democrats and 4 going to Republicans. District 1 is still being counted and can go either way, but the Democrat Tom O’Halleran is leading the Republican Tiffany Shedd with 92% of the vote counted. It looks like the Democrats will retain control in this election cycle.
