Salvadoreño Restaurant #2 Review

Located at 7333 W Thomas Road, the Salvadoreño Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant that specializes in the home-style cooking from El Salvador and Central America.

Their recipes trace back to Niña Martha’s homeland of El Salvador where she became known in her community for delicious chicken tamales, fresh green corn tamales, and various other homemade meals. She would send her daughter, Miriam, to deliver to the workers in the corn and coffee fields.

After relocating to Arizona, in 2002, the family opened up their first restaurant in Mesa, AZ. Fast forward to 2012, they grew the business to 5 locations. They have 2 locations in Phoenix, 2 in Mesa, and 1 in California.
