Two meeting options are available:
October 28, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
October 29, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
Visit phoenix.gov/droughtpipeline to register. A call-in option will be available. To request a reasonable accommodation be made available at these meetings, please contact the project staff at 602-235-2666 (TTY: 7-1-1) or email waterworks@phoenix.gov. Both meetings will offer the same information.
“Now, more than ever, it is important that we continue to engage our residents in the work we are doing with our water system. This project is vital to our community. As the city grows and the pandemic is still ongoing, hosting the public meetings virtually will keep everyone safe and still allow for public participation,” said Councilwoman Stark.
Those who cannot attend the virtual public meetings are invited to view the meeting online. Materials will be available for viewing after October 28th, 2020.
An individual virtual meeting with the project team is also available by calling the construction hotline at (602) 235-2666 or email at waterworks@phoenix.gov to set an appointment.
Visit phoenix.gov/droughtpipeline to view information about the upcoming construction schedule and potential impacts.
About the Drought Pipeline: Phoenix Water is building new pipelines and pump stations to ensure all customers will have access to safe, clean and reliable drinking water for generations to come. With shortages looming on the Colorado River, these improvements will provide a way to move more abundant water supplies to those areas at risk for shortage.
